2016 Project

Sometimes we forget that we live in the 'lucky' country and when our businesses are doing well, it really is the opportunity to give a bit back to the community and to tohers less fortunate than ourselves, around the world.

For our 2016 project, Robert Mason, owner of Precise Pest Control wanted to expand the Pest Control Industry involvement.

"We wanted our 2016 effort to be bigger and better, by getting more companies involved. In addition to Sundew Solutions, Ensystex Australasia, Bayer and Garrads all came onboard. With my wife's family coming from the Philippines we decided to support Balud Elementary School, San Ferando in Cebu, as the benefactor of the supplies we had gather.

The school was desperately short of supplies. We combined with Sundew Solutions to give each classroom storybooks, and a range of school materials. Ensystex ensured the teachers and children all received a pen and hat, with additional teaching aids provided by Garrads and Bayer.

"Malnourishment is a common result of poverty. The school had indentified 45 children who were classified as malnourished - their parents were very poor and they were lucky to get one meal a day. Each of these at risk children were supplied with a complete meal and drink.

"With such poverty, children often don't get a chance to just a be kids, like the children of Australia, so we provided them lollies and toy bags. We also had extras to give out to children in teh surrounding area.

2011/2012 Project

In 2011/12 Precise Pest Control created an initiative to help the Greenhills Elementary School in San Fernado, Cebu, Phillippines, in association with Singapore Airlines and Sundew Chemical Products.

The project provided various school supplies, food, treats and lollies for the students and street kids in the surrounding area.
